Does your dog scratch at your storm door? The dog is scratching at your door because he wants to go outside to investigate, play, or go to the bathroom. My lab Dupree scratched is just a puppy and he has already left his mark on my back door. How did I train my dog to stop scratching at my back door? I installed a dog door directly into my exterior storm door.
Installing a dog door into my door was a very simple solution. A dog door allows my dog to go outside whenever he wants. My dog has not scratched at my back door since installing the dog door.
Providing you have an enclosed backyard or the ability to do so, installing a dog door into your door will solve this problem for you as well. Dog doors provide you and your dog many other benefits.
