How did he do it? The rawhide chew bone is larger than him and too wide to fit through his dog door when he grabs it in the center with is mouth. Yet he managed to place this trophy bone in the backyard with the rest of his treasures. I will capture this amazing feat on video soon.
And as the snow melts in Michigan, I am finding many items of my own I had forgotten about. Items like socks, shorts, Christmas bulbs, and even a comb. He loves that dog door and having the freedom to come and go whenever he wants. He loves that dog door because he now has an area of his own to hide his treasures, or in other words, my stuff. It is too funny to watch him run around the back yard strategically placing his toys in different spots. I don't understand his methods.
I always think if my dog would be this happy if he didn't have the independence to go outside whenever he wants. I know I wouldn't be as happy. I absolutely love how easy it is to take care of my lab. In fact the dog door has made caring for a pet so easy that I plan to adopt another dog very soon. Any ideas for a name?
