What's in the box?
A completely assembled airtight dog flap system mounted onto to 1" inch thick rigid PVC frame
Cut a 6" x 10" inch hole into a piece of cardboard. If your dog can comfortably pass through than you buy a small dog door. If not, cut a 9" x 13" inch hole into a piece of cardboard. If your dog can comfortably pass through than you buy a medium dog door.
If your dog does not fit through either opening then install a large dog door. Our large dog door will accommodate labs and collies all day long. If you have a giant breed simply cut an 11" x 17" inch hole into cardboard and test to see if your dog passes through.
With pet flap replacement costs and loss of energy, other dog doors can keep costing over time.

This is the first time I bought a product from the internet and I have been very happy with this dog door. Extremely windproof and weathertight. I can feel a draft by my front door on very cold days and when I pass by the dog door that I had installed into my wall I feel no draft at all. You guys should make front doors! My german shepard loves coming and going as she wishes and to be honest so do I. This is the way a dog door should be and I am glad I made this purchase.

We had a blower door test recently, and one of the big air infiltration leaks in the house was our pet door. The pet door leaked so badly that it had to be temporarily sealed off just to finish the blower door test. This was a bit disappointing as we had paid extra for a double flap model that was supposed to provide good sealing.rnrnrnWhile looking around for a good solution, I happened to read a blog on a new home that was being built in which they were enthused about the pet door they had installed. It was a Freedom Pet Pass pet door, and in looking into it, it did seem like it might help with the air infiltration.rnrnWe ordered and installed one, and its been in use for couple months. We are quite happy with it. It seals very well -- I cannot detect any air leakage even with a smoke pencil. It also eliminates the problem we used to have with the flaps on the pet door banging noisily when it was windy.

I bought a large doggie door for my german shepards from a retail store and within 4 days after installing it into my wall I knew I had made a terrible mistake. We live in Arizona and it its very hot this time of year. I could literally feel the hot air coming inside. The large doggie door had 3 flaps and they all leaked. The store wouldn't even let me return the cheap doggie door. I couldn't find a pet door that seals in any retail store so I looked online. I found the freedom pass on youtube of all places featured in a video of it with a leafblower blowing on it. I was concerned that it may not fit the current hole I had cut for my first dog door so I called the company. Brian was incredibly helpful and explained how I could make thier dog door fit perfectly. When i recieved the door it was so obvious how much better quality this brand is. The way the magnets make the flap seal airtight is simple but brilliant. Take my advice and buy this door. rn

The dog door is great and my pets and I are so happy with it. My two dogs love thier freedom. I rescued one of my dogs and he was very badly mistreated so he suffered from seperation anxiety and barked all day when I was at work. With the dog door I can leave him in the house where he feels safe and secure and my neighbours are alot happier now the barking has stopped. It was a big Job putting it in, my walls are 16" thick, but well worth it. I finished the tunnel with tiles so it looks great and is easy to wipe clean. Thanks again Brian really great invention so happy with it!!

I purchased your product around mid December and it arrived within a few days. I installed it on and remember temperatures of - 15 degrees which was a record low for Denver. I was impressed on how well your product kept the cold out. Seals great!
"I just wanted to let you know that your weather proof pet door withstood the wrath of hurricane Irene. That flap didn't move at all. My canopy on the back porch was bent like a toothpick so the winds...
