I came across this blog today and it brings up some awesome advantages of having a dog door. It was neat to read because I can relate to every thing she is saying. The author, Pam Hogle, recently moved into a new apartment house that has a large backyard and a dog door. She writes about how spoiled her dogs are because they now have their independence. She also writes about how spoiled she is too, citing specific examples of joy that include little inconveniences like waiting in the rain by the doorstep for your dog to finish going potty.
