Prevent dog from chewing pillows and other destructive dog behaviorIf you are a doggie parent, you know what it means to come home only to find that your favorite cushion has been completely destroyed, furniture legs chewed up and slippers torn to pieces. The most common reason for such destructive dog behavior is boredom and inactivity. And the best solution for this problem is pet door installation.

Dogs are social beings. They hate being locked up inside the house, all alone. The moment they start feeling restless and bored, they start taking out all their pent up energy on the furniture and your personal belongings. When you install a pet safe dog door for them, you do them and yourself a huge favor! A pet safe dog door allows your dog easy movement, in and out of the house. Whenever your dog feels bored, he can simply go outside for his much needed exercise and activity. After the pet door installation, you will find a marked difference in the behavior of your dog.

However, pet door installation may mean increase in monthly expenses. This is because a pet safe dog door can let outside air into your house, letting in cold air during the winters and hot air during the summers. This means that your air conditioning will have to work on overdrive to maintain the temperature within the home. This, in turn, will have a huge impact on your energy bills. The best solution is to choose an energy efficient door for pet door installation that remains airtight when shut, successfully keeping the outside air outside!

Freedom Pet Pass pet door installation proves highly beneficial for you as well as your dog. This is the most energy efficient pet safe dog doors available in the market today. Visit www.energyefficientdogdoors.com to know more about these amazing pet doors!

Do you have a dog who wants to frequently go in and out of the house? While this is a sign of an active dog, it can be annoying for you if you have to constantly open and close the door for your pet. It is worse when you have several chores to complete and you have to stop and get the door every little while. By installing a dog door through a wall or door of your house, you can let your dog enter and leave the house without interrupting you.

Get Back Your Independence By Installing a Dog Door

I came across this blog today and it brings up some awesome advantages of having a dog door. It was neat to read because I can relate to every thing she is saying. The author, Pam Hogle, recently moved into a new apartment house that has a large backyard and a dog door. She writes about how spoiled her dogs are because they now have their independence. She also writes about how spoiled she is too, citing specific examples of joy that include little inconveniences like waiting in the rain by the doorstep for your dog to finish going potty. Check it out. I think you will find her post very interesting whether you own a dog door or are thinking about installing a dog door. >> A Doorway To Your Dog's Independence

Is The Dog Door Responsible For This?

Labrador Retriever on couchIf you get a dog door for your lab he will start living the good life. I think I have the happiest Labrador Retriever in the state of Michigan and I attribute that to installing a dog door for my lab. If he isn't posted up on the couch, he is trying to sneak something outside to add to his collection of "chew toys" scattered about the back yard. Dupree likes to wait until I'm occupied and then he runs through the dog door with a trophy toy, usually a shoe. He is always so busy coming in and out of his dog door.

Does a dog door improve thier quality of life?

Oftentimes the number one reason dog owners decide to get a door is because it improves their quality of life. You don't have to constantly worry about making sure you let the dog out...which hopefully leads to less accidents in the house and a whole lot less frustration. However, while it is true that dog doors can improve the quality of life of a pet owner, they are even more important for improving the quality of life of your pet.
